Hello…

and thank you for visiting our website and blog!

Clear photography is Sam and Susan Heaton, People and Portrait photographers. From Weddings and Kids through to Commercial and Editorial images, our aim is to create modern, natural images.

After meeting at Art College in 2001, we travelled and worked in various countries around the world, honing our love of photography!  We finally settled down in Edinburgh, got married… then got a dog.

We started Clear in 2005, working primarily from our bijou home studio.  We now work from a dedicated Studio and office space based in Leith, Edinburgh and cover commissions throughout Scotland.

Just recently (well, last March!) we added baby Poppy to our expanding family… a real character, she never fails to amaze and inspire us every day.
